The cafe is open!

I didn’t get a chance to see the menu since it was mobbed with people enjoying the sunshine.
The Police car is not there to control the crowds at the cafe but for an open day in Market Square. One of the displays is the Bomb Disposal Unit showing examples of the types of ordnance they deal with. On average they deal with between 40 and 50 pieces of ordnance each year; much of it dating back to the Occupation.
The open day only started about 10 minutes before I took the pic and already a fair crowd had gathered so I think they’ll have a busy and successful day.
