Upwaltham church

Mr U&L and I had decided to go to Iping Common so I could look for spiders but as rain was expected we got to Petworth and instead of carrying on to Midhurst turned south and went to Upwaltham Church.
I am hoping to do an embroidery of this delightful isolated church in the near future, so it gave me an opportunity to photograph some of the more complicated stone work .
