Cycling on the Edge
Cyclists doing their thing on the edge: this would be an isthmus, but there is no land on the other side. German I think, from overheard comments when I caught up with them. And why not?
Another 50k+ jaunt today, starting from Callander; up to Strathyre, Balquhidder, Lochearnhead, and back via the Balquhidder loop. A hilly route that has destroyed previous ebikes, but not the trusty and sturdy Raleigh. I'd love to say it's 'British', but I think it's owned by a European firm. Damned good either way, and of course the electrics and motor are by Bosch.
I think 100k+ in two days is enough for me; if I travel tomorrow, it will be something gentle.
Extras: pastoral, and 'I hear banjos...'
