Meandering
JJ went off to golf with Liam, which meant I was free to meander around the field edges, after I’d photographer a couple of tiny flies, as you do.
Not many people about so I had a quiet plod about looking for butterflies and insects, of which there were few.
Back via friends’ where I inspected a new border, having had a hedge removed. Then stopped to chat to another couple. He has a brain scan in a couple of weeks to see how he’s progressing following a few blackouts last summer.
I bumped into another couple with their four week old baby, who are still looking shell-shocked and found that their new neighbours two doors away are expecting their second baby any day now.
This is a sweet chestnut tree alongside the pond, which I decided was good enough for blip. I’ll spare you the flies for now but I am getting more detail. The extra was taken in the wheat field.
