Twelfth Night
Kate stayed the night. A nice leisurely get up then a walk to the shop before lunch. We drove to Prescott to the Shakespeare North Theatre. It took a while to find parking but we did eventually. We walked to the theatre which was very busy so we sat outside waiting for the performance to start.
What a brilliant performance, we really enjoyed it. There were many references to today mixed in with the Shakespeare language. The actors were brilliant and I got a great shock when one stood by me in the Upper gallery as part of the play. Les Dennis was brilliant as Malvolio, 50 years ago I saw Ken Dodd in the same part. We will definitely go to more plays at the theatre. I did have difficulty getting out of the carpark as there were no signs. We stopped for a delicious meal on the way home.
TV is rubbish so I'm watching Formula 1 then a repeat of the Fishermen's Friends.
