SPARROWS at the PARK

These little sparrows aren't pretty, colorful, or particularly interesting, but I'm so happy to finally have the chance to photograph birds that I just had to post them today. I went to a local park in hopes of finding something new and different. It was very hot and humid and I was there around noon, so any birds that were active were definitely in the shade. I was lucky that these little guys were in a bit of sunshine for a few seconds which helped define them a bit.

Besides the park, I also searched for blip subjects at a couple local ponds and a nearby cemetery, but no activity there. (No pun intended!) I think it had to do with the time of day - noon, the hottest sun of the day. Hoping for better luck tomorrow!
