Heaton Festival

It's been another beautiful summer's day (we're certainly due a few of them!) so we decided to go to the Festival being held today in Heaton Park in Newcastle. We knew that Grandson#1would enjoy it, and also that Son#3 was going too, with Grandson#2 so we arranged to meet them there. It all seemed very well organised and the good weather had certainly brought out crowds of people who were all very well behaved.

There was music on the main stage, and the photo is of a local rock group called The Underdogs (not to be confused with a variety of other groups with the same name!). They were certainly performing with great gusto.
