A photo can’t convey how much fun I’ve had today at the Lavender line driving their DMU.
I took 7 trips up and back along their track stopping at the signal and before the crossing each time. I had a SPAD at the first signal on the first trip but managed the rest of them either stopping slightly short but acceptable or quite a few were spot on.
C’s mum was my only passenger and enjoyed travelling first class. My lovely instructor Chris was fantastic and was encouraging me to become a volunteer and do driver training with them which I’ve taken as a strong compliment on my driving.
Was surprised how tired I was afterwards then realised that I made 40 stops in about 2.5 hours which is quite a lot of hard concentrating!
