Seeing Red

Shortly after this was taken the sky opened up and it’s been raining ever since. I was surprised to find this cute little one on a banking below the cherry tree. It’s been months since I’ve seen a red squirrel, also known as the pine squirrel, and I’m hopeful he’ll stick around • Another mostly indoor day, humid, but much cooler temperatures. It’s refreshing, really. I’ve got a boiled dinner simmering on the stove. Looking forward to slurping that up with some fresh bread while watching Shardlake on Hulu.
