Batu Caves

All the best photos are on my husband's Sony but I'd rather get my daily entries done in the moment than as three weeks of back blips.

The highlight of our first day was our trip to Batu Caves, where Imi fell in love with the monkeys, and is now determined to have one as a pet.

We could return Shadow to the RSPCA and swap her for a monkey ...

We could just buy one for while we're travelling around Malaysia

As it happens, two days later, while we're staying in Ipoh, we're located opposite a pet shop that is selling her heart's desire (as well as countless exotic birds, cats and heat-exhausted guinea pigs)

But we're holding firm, and against the Syrian hamsters too.
