Memories

After quite an eventful and emotional week I think things caught up with me…
A quiet morning and then a trip out.
Seeing these corncockle flowers triggered more emotions.
When my mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer she made sure that I had a variety of seeds from wildflowers that she grew in her garden. Corncockle were some of her favourite and from those seeds Ive grown corncockle every year., saving the seeds This year they just haven’t germinated.
Seeing these today added to delicate emotions… but they were so beautiful.
