Found some :)

Mr B (me too) have been pining for radicchio (that slightly bitter red lettuce found in bags of mixed salad). They had it in Westbourne for a while, then the greengrocer in Southbourne stocked it. But that's history.

The one place that usually sells it is Wareham saturday market (blipped). So made an inpromptu decision, to catch an early train there, before it got "too hot".

Raced to get ready, put on a light cotton voile shirt and we caught the 9:33 train. Unexpectedly cool out, wasn't dressed for it. Remained like that most of the day!

Got two very fresh radicchio and fresh garlic. Found there was a bus imminently leaving for Swanage, so made another snap decision and hopped on it. Attractive route via Corfe Castle and undulating hills.

Wandered round Swanage and before getting the Breezer bus home, had my favourite local ice-cream made by Chococo, a scoop of vegan Madascar 80% Chocolate, and one of 78% Ecuador chocolate. It's so good, up there with the best of Italian ice-cream.
