Summer Recital Time

Last night, Friday night, we attended the recital for Z and M at Multnomah Arts Center. M played a Neil Young tune Unknown Legend in her guitar . Z chose a Shawn Mendes song In My Blood to play in the piano . Their family friend L had her first recital on her ukulele playing The Lion Sleeps Tonight . Always a delight to hear and see the kids perform and I’m so glad they like musical instruments too.
Z really loves the songs of Shawn Mendes and was announced by their teacher Dan as “Shawn Mendes jr”. Z said that it embarrassed him but I think secretly he loved it ;).
