Letcombe Regis

Last night we stayed in an AirBNB near No 1 son's flat.  We had stayed there previously and the hostess was very welcoming.  An oasis after a busy couple of days. We met up with L and his partner and had a delicious lunch at the Greyhound.  It is only the second time we had met his new partner and we really hope they have a good future together.

No 1 son  works in the watch business and was able to have a look at a watch I have inherited from Dad. He gave it a good clean and got it working (it has been rather neglected of late).  Thanks, L.

After lunch, we said our farewells and returned home for the next few days before we journey south again for the funeral.  Easy journey home.  Phew.
