Okarito

Overcast, but mostly dry today. Although there were clouds over the mountains, the Franz Josef Glacier was visible, as well as some snow-capped peaks. I'm staying in Franz, but drove to Okarito and walked up to the Trig this morning. I was surprised to see a single orange rata flower still out. No kayaks out on the lagoon, but maybe later when the tide comes in more and visitors are up and about.
