The Auction

First time at a car auction house. It was near the Detroit Airport. One of our senior managers took us four interns down there. Some stuff I learned: New vehicle market is 15 million per year, used vehicle market is 40 million per year, used vehicles have higher margins, company as well as commercial vehicles are sold at these auctions, many dealerships don't care about getting certified pre-owned certification. It was organized chaos, but it was cool to watch. Some cool cars, SUVs, and trucks being sold.
