Probably Our Favourite Bird

We love kookaburras. They don't attack the garden and are incredibly docile. It's not hard to get them eating out of your hand. Mr isbi tossed this one a couple of bits of meat and he caught them in mid air almost without moving. They have incredible eyesight. You will see them sitting in a tree and then suddenly swoop down and catch a worm foolish enough to put its head above ground.

With no tractor and neither of us at the peak of fitness we can't do much at the moment so this morning went for drive to the far end of the valley. There is a limit to sitting around the house.
