Getting ready for some of us to go away

 A stormy and wet day, spent doing bits and pieces of things rather than anything of consequence. I didn’t even manage to watch the Euros. A couple of loads of laundry might well be the sum total of my day’s efforts.
 
Mrs. Ottawacker and Ottawacker Jr. are going up to Sundridge to start emptying her father’s house, which I imagine will go up for sale soon. Her brother John is driving her, so mid-afternoon, we picked up Ottawacker Jr. from school and drove out to Kanata, where I dropped them both off and returned home. Ottawacker Jr. was clearly still recovering from his successive late nights, as he had fallen asleep before we drove out of the school yard.
 
An evening spent farting around, really. I got into two or three Internet wormholes before realizing it was nearly 8pm. Then I had some leftover chicken for dinner, watched the Euro highlights, and went to bed.
