Maggie

My phone is changing my background picture very often and uses my whole 45000 portfolio for choice. This week it came up with beautiful Maggie photos, this is one of them, and many I had forgotten. Here she is very young.
In the now time, this poor old dog is having a hard time with arthritis pains and diarrhea. Because of that she has to sleep alone in the sunroom now with the door to the outside open, so she can go out whenever necessary.
The days are a blur for me. Inspite of going nowhere and not working in the house or garden, my mind is working very hard, trying to decide whether I am doing the right thing. Leaving one big house and huge garden at our age and with Don’s condition is not a small decision. As we cannot move to Germany which would have been the logical thing to do, we move closer to town, and in to a subdivision for people 55 years and up. There will be no traffic to speak of, two big pools, hot tub and sauna, a clubhouse and several friends who live close by. Visiting the library can be done with a 20 minutes walk and Don is a fast walker.
It seems that the purchase of the new house will go through.
