Ready to serve

We went to Vancouver Island to watch Kalyn and Kalissa play beach volleyball. It was so great to see them and watch them play. They hadn't practiced or played yet this season and struggled a bit, won one and lost two matches. A long day for us, but we were glad we went over. They play again today. This is Kalyn getting ready to serve. A few players from the uni team are playing as well, and they're all staying at the home of the parents of one of them. Plenty of fun for them! They were looking forward to a good soak in the hot tub tonight. 
A crazy day of weather, sunny and warm changing to heavy clouds and cold, some rain, and very gusty winds. Lucky we were prepared for anything. The wind made it a bit challenging for players.
