Strawberries

I treated myself to a punnet of strawberries yesterday, expensive but worth it. They are delicious of course. 
Did some cooking and washing this morning and have been sat outside this afternoon, trying to read, while the elderly neighbour the other side, continues with his weekend DIY tasks. Every weekend, sawing, drilling, hammering!! This week, his gate, only a few feet away. He works full time, so of course this is his only opportunity,  but it would be nice to have some peace on a Sunday afternoon  ..
