Ice

No air conditioning yet. Still hot and humid. The dogs are lying flat on the floor to try to keep cool.

Jill bought a 20-pound (9-kg) bag of ice that we're adding to drinks and putting in a bowl of water for the fan to blow over, among other uses. We've got ice packs in the freezer that we use to keep food and drinks cold on road trips. We're putting those on our bodies.

It's so gross here.
