Puzzlewood, Forest of Dean

Aliscotia’s images from 10th June were a trigger to visit Puzzlewood today and see the sculpture installation by Ed Elliott of ‘Kodama’.

Kodama are tree spirits that inhabit trees. They are said to symbolise the sacredness of nature. Kodama’ s presence in a treee denotes its sacredness and the importance of preserving nature.

My granddaughter’s xmas story book is underway so I expect these spirits will be making a guest appearance.
