Hoverfly on a nettle leaf

Milky sunshine to start then cloudy. I do open the windows as the house is quite warm, however the breeze was quite cool in the morning, and I end up shutting the window again. Quiet day at work. Nice walk at lunchtime around the park. My partner tries to photograph a bee on a hogweed flower, but I spot a small hoverfly resting on a nettle leaf.

The afternoon at work flies by, and soon we are both out for a wee walk to a café for Friday afternoon coffee and cake.
