Oban

This morning we caught the ferry from Mull over to Oban. We hadn't booked ahead but all the 'stand bys' were squeezed on! (Excellent spatial awareness by the crew.)
Oban was lovely in the sun and we visited McCaig's Tower - self-agrandisment on big scale by a former town planner who gave himself permission to build so that his family name would be remembered!
Other stops along the way including Dunstaffnage Castle & Chapel - excellent.
Now somewhere up in the woods near Inverawe for the night.
