iPad Training

This evening I assisted at an iPad training course at our local school with our ICT consultancy. iPads seem to be the tool of the moment in primary schools especially owing to their ease of use and flexibility. We had 31 members of staff turn up at 4.00pm for a 2 hour session at the end of a busy term and year, which shows how much interest there is in the device.

Being all educational professionals we're more concerned about how the device can be used by teachers and children in learning so the focus is about applying the apps to the classroom.

Enough of that the rest of the day was a pleasant way of spending a nice summer's, a run first thing then sitting in the sunshine doing a little light revision for the railway.
