Birthdays yesterday, blipdays today - brilliant!

500 blips - a figure that seemed unimaginable when I started out, but which seems to have been arrived at quite quickly!

I love this site - it really does force you to look at the world around you in a new way and to relax for a few minutes at least when looking and commenting at and on all of your entries. It puts some faith back in that not everyone out in the big wide world is as gloomy and 'angry' as the media would sometimes have is believe!

Whilst the whole gaining subscriber thing took a while it has been worth it in the end as I now have regular contact with some lovely people and do look forward to seeing into you lives (albeit only a snapshot) on a daily basis. It is true, what makes blip special is the people who are on it - so to you all - thank you, you wonderful Blip peeps :-)
