Nest on a downspout

We've been looking after our neighbour Bill's place while he's been away. This morning I spotted a bird's nest on the downspout by his back door.  The extra shows how it was hanging over both sides of the downspout. I'm not tall enough to see if there are any eggs in the nest but I don't think there are.
