Happy Birthday

It's my daughters birthday today. After happily unpacking loads of presents, Franziska and her brother spent the time playing games with their grandparents - indoor only, because it's raining on and on.

I spent the morning baking rhubarb cake, cooking lunch (asparagus), eating and talking.

Later, we will eat (the cake, this time with cream!!) and talk and play and eat again.

(Just in case you wonder: the birthday party with Franziskas friends will be on saturday, hopefully the rain has stopped by then!)
