Stormy Monday

The cool Atlantic air mixing with warmer N African air has created a classic Gulf of Genoa low pressure area. It’s pushing pulses of thundery rain across central western Italy. The rain is frustratingly close across the valley following the central ridge of the Apennines. I’ve halted my 5k walk as lightening was too close for comfort. But it is delightfully cool.
