Mum and Babies

Looking out of my study window early on Sunday morning and saw this little family in the field behind our house. Our neighbour used to keep her horses in this field during the summer months but they are now at livery.  The field  has been left to grow, with the result that there is much more wildlife. 

Later on in the day whilst having coffee on our patio we witnessed an ariel dog fight between a crow and a buzzard.  The crow won, no photo's of that encounter as the camera was back in the cupboard.
