Eider ducks
Visited the carrick a rede rope bridge first thing before it got too busy. The bridge is fun and wobbly. The birds nesting on the cliffs were interesting to watch. Razorbills, fulmar, guillemots, oystercatcher and the odd wood pigeon.
Set off for a walk along the coastal path and went as far as white park beach. Had a huge cinnamon bun and coffee at a coffee shop and then returned back to the cottage. There were several eider ducks with ducklings in the bays. Don't think I've ever seen one before.
