orange banded hoverfly
As the Bramble flower opens giving up its nectar to many flying insects, the aphid eating hoverfly joins the party. This Orange banded hover-fly, not so common here, stopped a while on a leaf. My. only opportunity to get a shot was through a small hole in the bramble bush.
