Deer, Deer!

This entry was taken at 5:00 a.m. The first day after midsummer’s day.

I had just opened the door to welcome the day and I disturbed the deer caught in the thumbnail.

The deer had been exploring the garden, and I spooked the beast. The animal ‘louped’ over the wall and headed off ‘barking ‘ every second or so.

I am slowly recovering from whatever ailed me, but I suspect that it will be a couple of days before I back to normal.
