Shady nook in hot Londontown

I’m visiting my eldest son, in London, staying overnight before meeting a dear college friend tomorrow . He and his husband moved to Limehouse 2 years ago and they are transforming the, once badly neglected garden, They installed a fence which works like a Venetian blind so they can choose to open the slats and look across at a canal and park (or not.) Ingenious .They have pruned trees, planted ferns, roses and climbers and it is now a delight.
I’m currently swinging in a hammock - not entirely sure how I shall get out but it’s very relaxing :) Thanks Pinkhaired Lady for hosting
