Both ends of Southend Pier

A beautiful day, hot, sunny with a nice breeze at the sea end of the pier.

I overslept this morning!  Spoke to K and we decided to go for a walk along Southend Pier, drove to the place we park without having to pay and then walked into Southend.  K was carrying a lot of coins that I had been collecting for the RNLI which were quite heavy so we took the train down to the end, a long while since I've done that!  Went to the RNLI shop and they were pleased with the coins (£10 in 5p, 2p and 1p),  had a quick look round, then sat out and watched the boats go by plus had our food and water.  We walked back and went for a cup of tea and then back to the car and home.  A pleasant day.  Out tonight pond dipping with Natural History Club.  The blip was taken near the RNLI shop at the far end of the pier and the extra was on our walk back into Southend.
