Mynyddd Bodafon circuit

We did a bike ride today, planned and navigated by Gill as part of her recovery from her aortic valve replacement, She told the surgeon she wanted to get back to doing 35km rides without distress and today's was almost 36 so that counts as a success!  She was doing 35+ with the old valve, before she knew it was duff.  Not a quick ride as this was more about building confidence, and she has decided most of our rides come with a midday mishap, today this was her chain coming off just on the steepest hill.  Thankfully, no damage done and we managed to get the chain free and back on the gears.  Latex gloves a great help as it was wedged in quite tightly between the chain-ring and motor housing :-)

This was our lunch stop,  just after the chain incident and at what was probably the high point of the ride: Mynyddd Bodafon.

We might return to the beach at Benllech tomorrow for an easy day as there is a good cafe and a very good beach.
