Hot, Hot, Hot...

After weeks of rain we appear to be having a couple of days of summer. 

Whilst having my morning coffee under the shade of the sun canopy I notice this poppy catching the sun on the shadow side of the greenhouse. The hover-fly photobombed the scene just at the right time. 

Later I took both the campervan and Matilda out for their first runs since I had my knee replaced seven weeks ago. Unlike my modern they are both gear shift. This didn't cause a problem but I will need to get use to the different seating positions and the way my knee bends in each. I don't think I'm ready for a very long drive just yet.
