Summer lilac

This year I didn't do anything on the balcony. Some plants have survived the winter like this lilac. Though I think there are some crawlies in it. The sparrows seem to enjoy them. Besides the few survivors there are a lot of weeds.

The amount of water coming down this year in combination with the fact that I'm feeling off all the time don't make me want to do anything. What's the use if the plants get flooded time and time again? Maybe I'll buy some flowers yet later this summer.
