Caerketton Craigs and the T-Wood

Another lovely sunny day. A nice walk around the park in the sunshine after changing the bedding. Quite quiet in the park, just one family in the play park and a couple of dog walkers.

After lunch a nice sunny walk to Swanston, where I take the mostly weekly blip of Caerketton Craigs and the T-Wood. For a change we head up to the Exmoor ponies and follow a higher track. Much higher than Arthurs Seat, Extra 1 shows the very wide vista of Edinburgh and East Lothian. The path follows a large loop, and we pass Swanston Cottage, Extra 2, the summer home of Robert Louis Stevenson's parents, and where he spent the summer when he was a teenager until his early twenties. The cottage was a one one level, but Stevenson's parents extended the building up.

When home, a nice afternoon coffee and a wee bit of chocolate while photo editing.
