While lovely and warm (24oC in the shade) the sunshine was sporadic as waves of grey cloud came over. When the sun did emerge you knew it was midsummer.

Some gardening done and the automatic irrigation system for the greenhouse disentangled.

After an evening discussion at church about pioneer ministry I thought I would head up to the Braids to see if there would be a sunset or view over the city.

Long overdue resurfacing was underway with the road blocked for so long i gave up and took a different route. Any evening shot had gone by then so you get this one instead.
