Riding to Ribfest 2009

I don't usually ride on the back, but last September I fell and broke only my finger - the middle finger on my left hand. i.e., my clutch hand. I tried riding on the back today so my Taxman and I could get better parking at the Naperville Ribfest - our annual summer fun experience with the kids. Although, Nik & Ned are in Michigan so it wasn't quite the same. It was Olivia's first ribfest experience though and she had a good time (no ribs, but some 'almost crawling' on the blanket and some sleeping. Owen rode on the 'flying motorcycles' carnival ride and grinned the entire time. So, it's appropriate that I post this image of Owen's Papa and Nana riding happily along on a perfect July 3rd celebration. Huey Lewis and the News played this weekend, but we missed it.
