Paint rack

No.2 is a chip off the old block and has got the same carpentry and 'can do' attitude of OH.  He sent me this picture today of his design for a rack to store all his paints - currently just in a box which involves lots of rifling through to find the right colour?!  Clever chap.  I'm looking forward to seeing the studio finished - maybe this weekend?

I was going to do BP first thing but the class was cancelled so decided on Fit in 30 instead.  Never mind about fit, it nearly killed me - too much running around and cardio.  However I did sort of enjoy it and might go again next week as combined with weights (BP) it will help with stamina and overall fitness.

I called into get pastries and then went over to see M for coffee - looking better but still not driving and still uncomfortable.  Consultant has told her it will be 9 - 12 months until she is fully recovered.  Home to a surprise visit from No.1 and JC on their way back from Elmley.  I had a sneaking suspicion they would call in and it was lovely to see them (and their washing?!).  They stayed for dinner to avoid M25 but it was a bit strange, and a bit of an atmosphere?  Hope they are ok.  Still hoping to get a holiday before surgery but No.1 a bit anxious and insurance costs adding to anxiety.  F*ck cancer.
