Sagra di San Giovanni

The festival of San Giovanni takes place every year at the end of June with a spectacular firework display on the Isola Comacina a short distance from the apartment.

Although we are returning to Aberdeen today, other family members are still staying at the apartment. This evening they went to Ossuccio to watch the firework display.

The start was somewhat delayed due to rain, but it took place eventually. It will have been a long evening for them, even though they have a table booked at the Lido di Ossuccio overlooking the island.
