Juvenile Woodpecker

I've been looking forward to seeing the young woodpeckers come to our feeding station. We've had good attendances from the parents over the last few weeks and, at last the young are ready to find our feast.

I missed the youngster being fed by the parent, it can now use the feeder itself though they do come to the garden together.

This afternoon we went to the funeral of a villager, I like to give what tiny amount of comfort I can to the bereaved family.
