Repairing the air conditioner

I got a call this morning from one of the companies I'd left a message with. Someone was coming to the house between noon and 2 to repair our air conditioner!

He showed up around 1:30 and spent an hour working. He switched the AC off and on at the breaker, checked the Freon level (it was low), moved the ducts in the attic so they weren't on the floor, cleaned the outside unit and coil, and measured the temperature in several vents.

It works! I checked twice today to make sure it wasn't freezing and flooding, and so far it's working as intended. Phew. It feels good to be cool again.
