First Tomatoes

Up early today as I had to be on the road about 8.20 to get to Newmarket for a periphery eye test. Didn’t know there were two lots of roadworks in the village so it took me 20 minutes to get to the main road. Made decent time after that so was only a couple of minutes late.
It went ok but I failed twice as I pressed on the buzz rather than the lights too many times. Got it right the third time and the technician said it looked ok to him. It will be sent to the DVLA today, he said it usually takes about three weeks to be notified 
Got home and they had sent me another reminder to have it done 
This afternoon we went to the Deli to get some pies as I am not great at making them so with the pies and my efforts we will be ok till Moreen is able to do a bit more.
It’s been hovering around 30c all day far too hot for me to be out so fans on and in doors for us. We will put the portable air condition on in the bedroom to cool it down before we go to bed.
The tomatoes are coming on well and just about ready for harvesting
