Basket of Colour

(not a basket, but it sounds better than "plant pot" of colour.)

At about 13:00 today there was a knock on the door. Outside was a woman with the most beautiful long grey plat (but that's beside the point) holding a empty water bottle and a dog bowl saying that M, the neighbour, said we will fill give her some water.

Long story short, they are in Suffolk to look for a boat and she took the dog - a 13 & 3/4 red setter called Shuna - out for a walk to tire her out before they had to go out later without her, but she misjudged the heat and the distance and Shuna was exhausted, hot and out of water. At the time, there was no dog to be seen - Shuna was tied to the neighbour's gate, being the only shady spot. 

Shuna got water and had a cool down in Oli's pool. M&J arrived to see if all was well and M gave her a lift back to their holiday home. Why M&J couldn't help them initially shall remain a mystery, but it brought a bit of excitement to the day.
