Astray

Timmy, out in the sunshine in Ruth's garden this morning.   He made his first appearance on blip back in November 2011, only weeks after I started my journal.  He's now settled with Ruth in Birmingham.   He's an old boy now but still loves to spend as much time outside as possible.

A hot day.  We acted accordingly, keeping indoors in the cool for the most part.  The main event was a visit from a representative from Canine Partners who train and place assistance dogs.  It's five years since Ruth started the process and may be another couple before she, hopefully, gets allocated a dog.  The pandemic has more than doubled the wait time for various reasons.   The vivit went very well and Ruth remains on course :-)
