Day 22

Drove on up to La Mailleraye sur Seine today as we had an appointment with the local vet we've used several times before for S's "re-entry into the UK" paperwork. We were worried about the forecast 27°C but there was a breeze along the river - we're parked on the riverbank - so it didn't feel so bad.

The Blip is my attempt to line a particularly nice patch of wild flowers up with a barge going down river - the flowers were below the top of the flood defences, the barge was close to the far bank. The navigation channel does bring the ships closer to the side we're on, but too far down to match up. Not 100% successful, but I tried. The extra shows one of the regular views when the tide is right.
